 Reg:  THE RIGHT TO INFORMATION ACT – 2005

 As passed by the Parliament the Right to Information Act – 2005, has already come into effect from 12.10.2005.  Our bank being a body established under the law made by the Central Govt. is a Public Authority under the Act and the Act is therefore applicable to our Bank also.

 We are forwarding herewith a copy of the Right to Information Act and you are advised to go through the same to have the full information about the provision of the Act. 

Provisions of the Act be complied with and it should be ensured that the Bank records are maintained duly catalogued and indexed.   The Bank has also nominated CPIO & CAPIO as under :
