Reg:  SENORITY LIST AS ON 12.09.2005  OF OFFICERS  & EMPLOYEES OF  THE BANK 

          The Seniority List of Officers (Scale-III, Scale-II, Scale-I) and Employees, Clerks/Cashier & Messengers/Peon is given in the Annexures I, II, III, IV & V respectively.  The Seniority list has been prepared on the basis of guidelines received from NABARD, vide their letter and Circular dated 10.03.2006, as approved by the Govt. of India, through Sponsor Bank vide letter dated 20.03.2006 with regard to fixation of Inter-Se-Seniority of the employees in each cadre of the amalgamated RRBs.  Inter-se seniority list have been prepared strictly as per the above guidelines of NABARD received through Sponsor Bank.  Main points are explained hereunder.

 GROUP “A” OFFICER SCALE III – CRITERIA

           The seniority of Officers shall be reckoned with reference to their date of promotion in that cadre/grade/scale.

 OFFICER SCALE II – CRITERIA

          The same procedure as that of Officers in Scale-III.

OFFICER SCALE – I – CRITERIA

          The existing seniority of Officers of individual RRBs, which has already been reckoned with respect to the rank allotted to them under batch concept at the time of selection, irrespective of individual Officers’ date of joining, has to be maintained in the merged seniority list.

GROUP ‘B’ – CLERICAL CADRE

           CRITERIA

           The existing seniority of staff in Group ‘B’ of individual RRBs which has already been reckoned with respect to the rank allotted to them under batch concept at the time of selection, irrespective of individual employees’ date of joining, has to be maintained in the merged seniority list. 

GROUP ‘C’  SUBORDINATE STAFF

           CRITERIA

           The seniority of employees in Group ‘C’ shall be reckoned with reference to the date of joining in the service of the Bank. 

NOTE:

 ·        Where there are two or more promote officers or employees of the same length of service in that cadre or scale their seniority shall be reckoned with reference to their seniority in the immediately preceding Cadre/Grade/Scale.

·        Where there are two or more promote officers or employees having the same length of service in such preceding Cadre/Scale, their seniority shall be determined with reference to their seniority in the immediately preceding cadre or scale as the case may be.  This procedure may be followed upto the lowest Scale/Cadre in which all the officers and employees joined or promoted. 

·        In the case of two or more officers/employees has same length of service in all the preceding Scales/Cadre then seniority will be determined on the basis of date of birth of such officers and employees.

·        Wherever there is delayed confirmation due to extended probation period the concerned officer/employee would go at the end of the batch.  Similarly in case of loss of pay, the service code provides for treating the loss of pay period as loss of service by number of days the employee is on loss of pay

 Please bring it to the notice of all the concerned. 

 If any Officer or employee finds any discrepancy, he may point out the same to the undersigned alongwith complete case/reasons not inconsistent with the above said guidelines within 30 days from the date of this Circular.
