HRD SECTION |
Reg: SPECIAL
POLICE OFFICERS (SPOs)/GUARDS AT BRANCHES
In this connection we draw the personal attention of the
Incumbents Incharges to the following:
“As per
the clarification given by the Police Department a SPO is supposed to be
relieved of his services of deputation with us as soon as he completes the age
of 58 years. The Branch Managers
are, therefore, advised to make sure to check the record of the SPOs at theirs
in respect of his date of birth and ensure that no SPO is allowed to work beyond
the stipulated age of superannuation i.e. 58 years. It is sole &
personal responsibility of the Branch Manager to ensure that under no
circumstances the SPOs are allowed to work beyond 58 years of age. Any laxity on this point shall be viewed very seriously.”
The Branch Managers must ensure to relieve those SPOs/Guards
immediately who have already attained the age of 58 years and for deployment of
new SPOs/Guards matter be taken up with H.O. (HRD Section) atleast six months in
advance.
The Branch Managers should personally verify about the date of birth of the concerned SPOs/Guards and must ensure that the above instructions are complied with in letter and spirit.
